Lt. Col. Sam "Spam" Milam, 75th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron commander, shakes hands with Col. Raymond "Donk" Strasburger, 455th Expeditionary Operations Group commander, shortly after the pair completed a mission that logged more than 10,000 combat flight hours for the 75th EFS in a single deployment to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan.This was the first time a squadron deployed at Bagram Air Field reached 10,000 combat hours. The 75th EFS arrived from Moody Air Force Base, Ga., in September for a four-month deployment, but was extended to six months. The A-10 Thunderbolt II was the first tactical fighter aircraft to deploy to Bagram Air Field in 2002.
