    A U.S. Navy SH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 sits on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) after being chained down following night flight operations Aug. 4, 2014, in the Pacific Ocean. The ship was scheduled for deployment to the Western Pacific after successfully completing Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014. RIMPAC is a U.S. Pacific Fleet-hosted biennial multinational maritime exercise designed to foster and sustain international cooperation on the security of the world's oceans.
