The dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7) holds course alongside the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) during a refueling at sea Aug. 4, 2014, in the Pacific Ocean. The Peleliu was scheduled for deployment to the Western Pacific after successfully completing Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014. RIMPAC is a U.S. Pacific Fleet-hosted biennial multinational maritime exercise designed to foster and sustain international cooperation on the security of the world's oceans.
