A group of approximately 13 armed military personnel pose for a group photograph in an outdoor setting with forested hills in the background. The group appears to consist of members from at least two different military forces, identifiable by their distinct camouflage uniform patterns. They are equipped with rifles and tactical gear, suggesting this may be a joint military training exercise or operation.

Brazilian Marines pose for a photo with U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South after the conclusion of combat marksmanship practice during a theater security cooperation event on Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 6, 2014. U.S. CMP was conducted over a two day period, where the Brazilian Marines demonstrated their mission specific tactics and the SPAMGTF demonstrated theirs. During the TSC, the Marines also conducted bi-lateral exchanges on combat tracking, explosive ordnance disposal tactics and medical aid. By sharing professional expertise with our partners, we develop, maintain and strengthen the relationships that facilitate cooperation in the event of a crisis requiring a multinational effort. SPMAGTF-South is currently embarked aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in support of her maiden transit, "America visits the Americas." (U.S. Marine Corps photo by 1st Lt.
