The image shows three armed military personnel conducting what appears to be a tactical field exercise in an open grassy area. Two soldiers on the left wear digital camouflage (MARPAT-style) uniforms with tactical gear and backpacks, while a third on the right wears woodland camouflage. All three are in low crouching or kneeling positions and are carrying rifles, suggesting a coordinated movement or assault drill.

U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South conduct combat marksmanship practice with Brazilian Marines during a theater security cooperation event on Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 6, 2014. CMP was conducted over a two day period, where the Brazilian Marines demonstrated their mission specific tactics and the SPAMGTF demonstrated theirs. During the TSC, the Marines also conducted bi-lateral exchanges on combat tracking, explosive ordnance disposal tactics and medical aid. By sharing professional expertise with our partners, we develop, maintain and strengthen the relationships that facilitate cooperation in the event of a crisis requiring a multinational effort. SPMAGTF-South is currently embarked aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in support of her maiden transit, "America visits the Americas." (U.S. Marine Corps photo by 1st Lt.
