The Mobile Emergency Operations Center deploys during Vigilant Guard 2014, Crisis City, Salina, Ks., Aug. 6. The MEOC requires special certifications prior to being deployed to natural disasters which were earned at the exercise. 184th Civil Engineer Squadron, Air National Guardsmen manned the daily operations of the MEOC. This exercise is a large-scale, multi-state disaster response scenario sponsored by U.S. Northern Command and the National Guard Bureau that tests the capabilities of emergency response agencies at all levels of government, both military and civilian.
