Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, looks as Col. Richard Hansen, commanding officer of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, shows the destruction Hurricane Katrina caused to the floodwall, along with the buildings and homes near it, Aug. 4, 2014. Mills attended a tour of the 17th Street Outfall, London Avenue Outfall Canal, Seabrook Floodgate Complex and the Jackson Barracks before attending a brief given by the Louisiana National Guard. The tour and briefs reviewed the reconstruction taking place, safety and the National Guard's response to natural disasters.
