Pfc. Juan D. Franco, a signal support systems maintainer, for Company C, Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, will be deployed for the first time in his young Army career to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom Rotation 08-10. Franco plans to pursue a degree in artistic design from a local community college near his hometown of Sacramento, Calif., once he finishes his Army enlistment.
