The Doura Public Library, open to the general public Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., offers a computer room with 15 personal computers and internet service, as well as a reading room and a children's room for public use by local Iraqi citizens in southern Baghdad's Rashid district. At the request of the Rashid DC, Soldiers of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, working with Company D, 404th Civil Affairs Battalion, out of Fort Dix, N.J., and the 1st BCT Embedded Provincial Reconstruction Team, restored and refurbished the educational and cultural learning place for the citizens of the Doura community and the Rashid district.
