Sabeeh Radyi, Rashid District Council Education Committee chairman, treats Iraqi school children from the Doura community in the Rashid district to story time as part of the commemoration of the re-opening of the Doura Public Library, Jan. 21 in southern Baghdad. Citizens of the Doura community joined local leaders from the Rashid DC and Soldiers of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad to celebrate the re-opening of the Doura Public Library. The public library is capable of holding approximately 10,000 books and offers a computer room with 15 personal computers and internet service, as well as a reading room and a children's room for public use by local Iraqi citizens in southern Baghdad's Rashid district.
