U.S. Army Maj. Mark Wade, the operations officer for the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division was honored with the Order of Saint Maurice Medallion and Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding service to the infantry community and to the Spartan Brigade’s paratroopers during an awards ceremony Friday, May 30, 2014, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The award officially inducts the recipient into the National Infantry Association and honors the highest standards of integrity, moral character, professional competence and dedication to duty.
