Ordinary Seaman Jeremie Vyphus, an engineer with the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) Coast Guard, adjusts the life jacket of a volunteer during a training exercise here on June 4. The volunteer, a lifeguard with the Ministry of Tourism, portrayed a casualty during a mock plane crash to assist the ABDF in training their emergency response teams as a part of Tradewinds 2014. Tradewinds is a joint, combined, exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
