Lifeguards from the Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Tourism wait in line before participating in a mass casualty exercise here on June 4. The lifeguards, who acted as casualties in a mock plane crash exercise, assisted the Antigua Barbuda Defense Force Coast Guard in search and rescue training as part of Tradewinds 2014. Tradewinds is a joint, combined, exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
