Petty Officer 2nd Class Travis Kent, an aviation maintenance technician, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Dave Munns, an aviation survival technician, both from Air Station Sitka, perform their duties aboard a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter during a training flight in Southeast Alaska, Sept. 30, 2013. The standard crew on a Jayhawk consists of a pilot, co-pilot, flight mechanic and rescue swimmer who work as a cohesive unit to execute search and rescue missions, assist mariners in distress, provide medevac transport and conduct other necessary operations.
