Rachel Horne, the widow of Senior Chief Boatswain Mate Terrell Horne, and Adm. Karl Schultz, the Eleventh Coast Guard District Commander, cut the ribbon to official introduce the Terrell E. Horne III Building at Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach during a ceremony May 13, 2014. The sector building was renamed in honor of Horne, who was killed Dec. 2, 2012 off Santa Cruz Island while attempting to interdict a panga vessel loaded with marijuana.
