The Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach command building was officially renamed the Terrell E. Horne III Building in a ceremony May 13, 2014. Senior Chief Boatswain Mate Terrell Horne was killed Dec. 2, 2012 off Santa Cruz Island while attempting to interdict a panga vessel loaded with marijuana.
