    These arches once stood as doorways to shops, now are remnants of a past culture in the Shrine of Hatra, in Hatra, Iraq, Nov. 20. Hatra is one of three areas in Iraq that is a World Heritage site. United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, works to create the conditions for genuine dialogue based upon respect for shared values and the dignity of each civilization and culture.
