Chief Petty Officer fire controlman Michelle Fox, the littoral combat ship USS Freedom force protection coordinator, meets and greets residents of Cleveland as she passes out tickets for people to tour the ship during the ship's port visit in Cleveland. Freedom is the Navy's newest ship to join the fleet with the ability to respond to threats near shore and at sea, that includes attacking submarines, fast-moving surface boats and neutralizing mines.
