Members of Cleveland High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps cross the brow to board and tour the littoral combat ship USS Freedom during the ship's port visit in Cleveland. Freedom is the Navy's newest ship to join the fleet with the ability to respond to threats near shore and at sea, that includes attacking submarines, fast-moving surface boats and neutralizing mines.
