Chief Warrant Officer 2 Shai Bardfield (center), a UH-60 Black Hawk pilot for Company B, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, pushes his son, Stetson, 7, into the shadow of a rotor blade as they and the rest of the children and parents at Peaceable Kingdom Retreat for Children head to check out the Black Hawk helicopter. Bardfield and his crew landed the helicopter, Nov. 8, at PKRC, located in Killeen, Texas, to show the children what a Black Hawk looked like up close. Although many of these children see Black Hawks flying around, they almost never get to see one this close, said Bardfield.
