Marines receive a brief by a Japan Ground Self-Defense Force member about new air-defense systems April 15 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. At the bilateral air-defense system exhibition, the 15th Anti-aircraft Artillery Regiment displayed and demonstrated its new systems for U.S. service members. The systems included a Type 03 middle-range surface-to-air missile and Type 11 short-range SAM. The Marines are with Marine Air Control Group 18, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The 15th AAR is with the 15th Brigade, Western Army, JGSDF.
