Recruits of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, run with their rifles and 30-pound ammunition cans to the end of the nighttime ammunition resupply course March 7, 2014 during the Crucible on Parris Island, S.C. Recruits had to transport the ammunition cans to the other side of the course while avoiding simulated enemy fire. Only hours after the course, the recruits would complete the Crucible and finally earn their titles as U.S. Marines. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate March 14, 2014. (Photo by Cpl.
