Maj. Russell D. Taylor, the dental surgeon for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, fills a soldier’s cavity at LaFlamme Dental Clinic on Fort Bragg, N.C., Feb. 24. Taylor said he talks to his patients before every procedure to relax them and that he became interested in dentistry after meeting the Falcon Brigade’s dental officer while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
