Maj. Russell D. Taylor, the dental surgeon for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, looks into a patient’s mouth during a routine checkup at LaFlamme Dental Clinic on Fort Bragg, N.C., Feb. 24. Taylor has been recognized as the Army Dental Corps U.S. Army Forces Command Junior Dental Officer of the year. Taylor, 45, is a native of Fayetteville, N.C., and a graduate of North Carolina State University and Meharry Medical College.
