Maj. Russell D. Taylor, the dental surgeon for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, and the U.S. Army Forces Command Junior Dental Officer of the Year, works in the LaFlamme Dental Clinic on Fort Bragg, N.C., Feb. 24. Taylor graduated from Meharry Medical College in 2011 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Taylor, 45, credits his 14 years experience as a combat officer for his success as a dentist.
