U.S. service members, Royal Thai Marines and Republic of Korea Marines work together to lift a piece of roofing material Feb. 10 Wut Khun Song school near Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The material will serve as the base to the rest of the roof when the school is completed. The community relations project started Jan. 25 and is expected to be completed Feb. 20. The program is part of Exercise Cobra Gold 2014, which is a multinational and multiservice exercise that takes place annually in the Kingdom of Thailand and was developed by the Thai and U.S. militaries. The Royal Thai Marines are combat engineers with Combat Engineer Battalion, 3rd Royal Thai Marine Division the U.S. service members are with the Seabees’ Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, 1st Naval Construction Group.
