The service members joined forces for a community relations project in which three new classrooms were built. The community relations project started Jan. 25 and is expected to be completed Feb. 20. The program is part of Exercise Cobra Gold 2014, which is a multinational and multiservice exercise that takes place annually in the Kingdom of Thailand and was developed by the Thai and U.S. militaries. Wanchai is a combat engineers with Combat Engineer Battalion, 3rd Royal Thai Marine Division the Kerber is a steelworker with the Seabees’ Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, 1st Naval Construction Group and Flores is an electrical power production journeyman with 35th Civil Engineer Squadron, 35th Fighter Wing.
