Pvt. Montree Samchai, left, teaches Petty Officer 3rd Class Isabella Hidalgo how to properly plaster a wall Feb. 10 at Wut Khun Song school near Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The service members joined forces for a community relations project in which three new classrooms were built. The project started Jan. 25 and is expected to be completed Feb. 20. The program is part of Exercise Cobra Gold 2014, which is a multinational and multiservice exercise that takes place annually in the Kingdom of Thailand and was developed by the Thai and U.S. militaries. Samchai is a combat engineer with Combat Engineer Battalion, 3rd Royal Thai Marine Division.Hidalgo is an equipment operator with the Seabees’ Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, 1st Naval Construction Group.
