    1189th Transportation Brigade

    In December 2013, the 1189th Transportation Brigade, Deployment Support Command, conducted SeaPort Operations Company 14-1 (SPOC) exercise at Joint Base Langley Eustis. Pvt 1st Cls Steven Sherwood, of Wavelland, MS, is a Transportation Coordinator with 441st Transportation Company. He is ground guiding the driver of the vehicle, Spec Thaddeus Walker of New Orleans, also a member of the 441st, as he maneuvers the vehicle into place on the land ship. Soldiers trained on the “land ship” built for the purpose of training and refreshing skills of cargo specialists and transportation coordinators
