A transformer lays broken and pole smoldering aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, Sept. 6, 2008, after an early morning visit by Tropical Storm Hanna. Jones-Onslow Electric Membership Corporation responded immediately to a request for assistance, sending seven teams in support of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and New River. The air station returned to "Destructive Weather Condition Five" - all clear, normal operations - at noon. (Photo by A.C. Mink)
