Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier George Washington clear the area as an SH-60B Sea Hawk from the "Charges" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 14 transports cargo netting from George Washington to the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser during a vertical replinishment. George Washington is sailing off the coast of Southern California where the crew is working on its Combat Operations Efficiency evaluation with Carrier Air Wing 5. George Washington departed San Diego, Aug. 21, 2008, en route to Yokosuka, Japan, where the ship will replace USS Kitty Hawk as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
