    Petty Officer 2nd Class Mason Macintosh directs an SH-60B Sea Hawk from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 14 into the landing area aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser. George Washington is sailing off the coast of Southern California where the crew is working on its Combat Operations Efficiency evaluation with Carrier Air Wing 5. George Washington departed San Diego, Aug. 21, 2008, en route to Yokosuka, Japan, where the ship will replace USS Kitty Hawk as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
