Volunteers from City Year Washington, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Marine Barracks Washington, and other National Capital Area bases come together after completing a successful day of building 200 student bookshelves and assisting the students with their own personal paint designs. The project was the first step of Leckie Elementary's literacy program, "What's On Your Shelf?"
