The 36th Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division band performs during a parade at Camp Taji, northwest of Baghdad, July 10, to commemorate the activation of the 4th Mechanized Battalion, 36th Bde, 9th IAD. The soldiers completed two weeks of basic skills training before the activation of the unit. Multi-National Division Soldiers with the Military Transition Team from 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, was instrumental in training the Iraqi brigade leading to the activation.
