A large row of armored vehicles are parked on the parade field during a celebration to mark the activation of the 4th Mechanized Battalion, 36th Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division at Camp Taji, northwest of Baghdad, July 10. The Iraqi army soldiers completed two weeks of training where they learned basic soldier skills needed to keep the Taji Qada safe and free of criminal and terrorist activity. Multi-National Division Soldiers with the Military Transition Team from 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, was instrumental in training the Iraqi brigade leading to the activation.
