      The Catalina Island Airport in the Sky project is a partnership between 3rd
      MAW, US Navy Seabees, and the Catalina Island Conservancy to repair their
      aging runway on Catalina Island. The project will run from December 2018
      through March 2019. It provides Marines with a unique training opportunity
      to conduct valuable, real-world training while providing a service to the
      local community.

    • Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility

      Red Hill is a national strategic asset with 20 underground fuel storage tanks providing fuel essential to our nation’s defenders, who safeguard national interests and support humanitarian missions overseas.

      Red Hill, operated by Navy Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Pearl Harbor’s Fuel Department, consists of 20 tanks, each able to store 12 million gallons of fuel.
