    Global Thunder is an annual, USSTRATCOM sponsored command-level, command post field training exercise designed to train and exercise USSTRATCOM Headquarters, Sub unified Command, Joint Functional Component Commands (JFCC) or equivalent task forces, service components and other assigned units in all USSTRATCOM mission areas.
