Air Force Tech. Sgt. Adam Schwartz attached to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, monitors air support in preparation for a convoy from Contingency Operating Station Echo, Iraq to Kuwait, Dec. 16, 2011. The Ironhorse Brigade was one of the last units out of Iraq and at the time, COS Echo was one of the two last U.S. bases in Iraq.
