Clearwater, Fla., native, 1st Lt. Jeffrey Strotman, and Sgt. 1st Class Larry Collins from LaGrange, Ky., fasten their unit's Yellow Banner to the line at Army Support Activity-Dix's Infantry Park May 14. Their unit, the 678th Human Resource Company, 4th Platoon, is an Army Reserve organization out of Louisville, Ky., that will deploy to Iraq to conduct post office operations. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
