Edgewood, Md., native, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Anthony Lloyd, Jr., and Sgt. 1st Class Louis Topper, from Baltimore, Md., fasten their unit's Yellow Banner to the line at Army Support Activity-Dix's Infantry Park May 13. Their unit, the 949th Transportation Company, Detachment 2, whose motto is "Water Borne," is an Army Reserve organization out of Balitmore that will deploy to Kuwait to conduct cargo and transportation movement mission. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
