Eric Junger, a founder of Parris Island’s Living History Detachment, leads Marine re-enactors in morning physical training to get them into a military mindset during World War II Weekend on June 7, 2014, at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, Pa. The weekend transported visitors back in time as they were surrounded by thousands of re-enactors in period-style uniforms representing various nations. The weekend also featured period entertainment, weapons demonstrations, mock battles and an air show. (Photo by Cpl. David Bessey)
