Members of Parris Island’s Living History Detachment and other Marine re-enactors recreate the Iwo Jima flag raising during World War II Weekend on June 8, 2014, in Reading, Pa. The weekend transported visitors back in time as they were surrounded by thousands of re-enactors in period-style uniforms representing various nations. The weekend also featured period entertainment, weapons demonstrations, mock battles and an air show. (Photo by Cpl. David Bessey)
