U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden’s Commander, Col. David H. Carstens sits to play and chat with Lee Long, son of Bianca and (fallen Soldier) Staff Sgt. Lee Long. The families of U.S. Army fallen Soldiers were honored on April 22, 2014 on Lucias D. Clay Kaserne for their sacrifices, and the loss of their Soldier in the line of duty. A memorial plaque and tree were planted in the memory of those whom have lost their lives in the line of duty. Each family member present was presented with a Gold Star Lapel Pin. These stars are distributed to members of the immediate family of a fallen service member by the Department of Defense. The families were individually pinned by Col. David H. Carstens.
