U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contractors install Blue Roofs on homes damaged by Hurricane Ida in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana on Oct.. 13. More than 25,800 roofs have been installed with contractors averaging more than 1,000 roof installs per day. USACE is supporting the state of Louisiana under a FEMA mission assignment to assist eligible homeowners with temporary roof repairs through the Operation Blue Roof program.
