Misawa City held it's 7th Annual Children's Ice Hockey Exhibition with particpants from the local community and Misawa Air Base. Shigeki To, Director General of the Tohoku Defense Bureau, explains the tradition of the ice hockey games, the reason for the garlic-shaped helmets, yam hockey sticks and hokke clam pucks, and the importance to the local community.
