Members of the Misawa community came together to pay a special tribute to the victims and the sacrifices of emergency responders involved with the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The event hosted by the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron challenged participants to repeatedly climb up an apartment building stairwell equal to the 110 floors of the New York City World Trade Center that collapsed in the terrorist attack.
