Navy Wounded warrior serves as the anchor for enrollees, their command leadership, medical services, and social support networks to ensure Sailors and Coast Guardsmen never sail alone while navigating a life-changing or career altering condition. As an official Department of the Navy program, Navy Wounded Warrior provides services and assistance that fulfills the Navy and Coast Guard's promise to care for their people when the unexpected happens. Since 2006, Navy wounded Warrior has helped more than 10,000 Sailors and Coast Guardsmen with personalized, comprehensive non-medical care, resources, and advocacy. The program empowers warriors through the development and implementation of holistic recovery goals that create a strong foundation for continuation of service or successful transition to civilian life.
