The Chief Leadership Academy at Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, Alabama, develops senior enlisted leaders through professional military education focused on leadership, critical thinking and preparing Airmen for today’s operational environment. The academy temporarily paused operations for one year to revamp and modernize its curriculum, and is scheduled to reach full operational capability in fall 2026.
