George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies

The George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies is one of six U.S. Department of War Regional Centers and the only bilateral Center, a unique German-American partnership between the German Federal Ministry of Defense and the U.S. Department of War.

The Marshall Center, with regional expertise and a vast network of security professionals, equips allies and partners with interoperable skills and institutional capacity to turn commitments into capabilities for European-led security. In line with U.S. and German priorities, the Marshall Center’s programs strengthen burden sharing, interoperability, and strategic access across the Euro-Atlantic.
