The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) visits Naval Station Norfolk following a seven-month deployment, May 10. Throughout the ship’s seven-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations, Carney successfully destroyed 45 Houthi-launched weapons, including land attack cruise missiles, anti-ship ballistic missiles, and unmanned systems.
